T5 Fluorescent Bulb Par Test Comparison

The following bulbs were used to compare PAR output of popular T5 fluorescent lamps:

Par readings were taken at 2″ across the entire bulb.

The average reading range is given in micro moles.

The T5 fixture was a Hydrofarm Designer T5.

Each bulb was given 15 minutes to warm up properly.

Each bulb was placed in the same lamp socket without any other lamps on.

Each bulb is rated for 54w and with a day tempature in the 6500K range.
